Quiver

A single leaf quivers to the ground
carried upon the shoulders of the four winds
shelled by their silent reverie
surrendered to its echo amidst the age of the forest.
Buried beneath the whisper of the sky
lain upon the soft green hair of Gaia.
An eternal ovation to the wreckage of Autumn
lives in the youth of Spring.
Thread upon, long forgotten by peons
ignorant to a world ...

... once saved
